  I personally have always found the reception staff very professional and helpful both face to face and on the phone. Maybe the reported rudeness was a reflection of the patient treatment of the staff !!!!!!. My dentist his nurse and hygienist are always friendly professional and welcoming and explain everything.

  I have to agree with the previous two comments. The receptionist at the station road dentist are very rude. Both when I have called in person or on the phone. I was made to feel like an idiot when I called to try and book an appointment. I was told my address was not correct mean while I have had a previous appointment, I had not moved yet I was made to feel I should have updated them. They refused to book an appointment because I had to show them an exception card which I was told by the NHS was not necessary and all I had to do was provide the exception number until my card was ready. Manager was rude as well and asked me to go to another surgery If i wished and they had the right to refuse me an appointment. I have never experienced such a rude and abrupt treatment. It's the worse and I think if more people had the time to put up reviews it would show what a bad service they provide. I must say the dentist I have seen so far were good.Some people have complained and have changed surgeries because of this rudeness. Its terrible.
